Detectives from the PSNI’s Major Investigation Team investigating the murder of drug dealer Sean Fox in west Belfast in October have arrested a 44-year-old man today.
The man was arrested in the Lenadoon area of west Belfast on suspicion of terrorism-related offences.
He is currently in custody at Musgrave Serious Crime Suite for questioning.
In follow up inquiries detectives later recovered a quantity of suspected ammunition.
The items were seized during searches in the Lenadoon Avenue area on, Tuesday, December 15, and will now be sent for forensic examination.
Fox, aged 42, was blasted to death on Sunday, October 2, at Donegal Celtic Supporters Club in west Belfast by a two-man hit team.
Detectives are reiterating their appeal for anyone with information to contact them on 101.
Crimestoppers have also offered a reward of up to £20,000 for anonymous information it receives that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the murder of Mr Fox.
