Police are currently at the scene of a shooting incident in the Whitecliff Drive area of west Belfast.

Shortly after 9.00pm, it was reported that a man was shot in both legs.

He has been taken to hospital to receive medical treatment for his wounds.

Anyone with any information which could assist with police enquiries is asked to contact officers on 101 quoting reference number 2012 of 30/03/23.
